Tree Map
A collapsible tree map includes an interactive element shown as an example in the below chart. Any parent node can be clicked on to collapse the portion of the tree below on itself. Conversely, it can be clicked gain to regrow it.
Use Cases:
The chart constructs the data at one-to-many level hierarchical structure and we can make the interaction between the Tableau workbooks and advanced charts possible through extensions.
A correlation between application and their working areas can be shown in a hierarchical structure for each subject area.
It also helps the management in doing impact analysis at the application level.
